Jon Snow, Channel 4 broadcaster, is the Chair of New Horizon Youth Centre and has been involved with the centre since the 1970s.

He started his working career as co-coordinator in 1970 and worked for three years with the late Lord Longford, who founded the centre in 1967. Jon is very interested in the needs of young vulnerable people and those young people who are disadvantaged by their backgrounds from becoming positive members of society.

He is a hands-on Chair and regularly attends the centre to give out certificates of achievement, talk to young people and even beat them at table tennis.
